So this post is WAY WAY WAY WAY to long in coming, but here it is, a post to say:
THANKS DEVON PARK GRAD CLASS!
This large group of 12th graders from dear old DPCS were here a while back on their grad trip and were kind enough to spend a day here at Casa de Amor, House 2.
I was very impressed with their willingness to serve and jump in with some pretty messy jobs!
|
The job for the day was painting, in just a few hours they painted almost the entire interior of the house~ Here's the baby of house 2 with one of the walls before the new paint job..... |

Volunteers Elena and Pauline hard at work! |

Mrs. Fox heading up the awesome project they brought for our girls to make, TuTu's!! |
|
The DPCS team also showed up on the day we rescued two puppies! |
|
Of course there were some soccer games played! |

As well as the hard work, they also brought with them a wealth of supplies, future birthday presents, shoes, vitamins, etc etc etc, here they are pre-sorted.... |
|

Also they were amazing enough to bring me some surprise treats! |
